Rob is an investment advisor responsible for sourcing wealth creation opportunities in the public and private venture capital markets for our clients. He has a vast network in Canada, the United States, and Internationally which allows him to find lucrative, early market investments in junior and mid-sized companies. Rob is a graduate of Victoria College at the University of Toronto. He has worked his way up the ranks at various firms in Toronto and Vancouver and is a top producer at Research Capital. Rob and his wife Amanda are proud parents of three children. He is a racket sports enthusiast, windsurfer, sailor and hockey player.

Anthony Sandler, CIM

Associate Portfolio Manager

Anthony is a third generation money manager who started his career working in his family’s business helping to run $1.3 billion in client assts. A focus on Wealth Management and aiding clients and their families to properly plan their financial future, business organization, charitable giving and estate planning perfectly complements his approach to investment management. Anthony holds the Certified Investment Manager accreditation and works with clients to set goals for their money, determine appropriate and achievable returns that stay within client’s risk tolerance and constructs portfolios to deliver those returns. Anthony, his wife Katy and their son Mathew live in Port Moody, enjoy hiking with their dog Marlow - a collie-cross, and canoeing at Buntzen Lake.

Mark Westaway

Analyst/Trader

Mark is responsible for everything that happens behind the scenes with the Barber Group and is the primary contact for trading. He facilitates subscriptions to private placements, fund management and certificate deposits. Mark is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, and is a CFA Level III candidate. In his spare time, when he has any, Mark enjoys reading, playing hockey and tennis.
